ABOUT US

I was born in a furnace, the daughter of Hephaestus and a silver shooting star.

My heart reaches into the earth to pull the cooling molten metal into my palm.

The crescendo of water swirls about eroding solid rock. The wind reveals the bones of an ancient ocean creature stranded in the desert.

The sinuous body of a wasp watches from glistening droplet of amber. My whirling fingers reveal a star born anew.

Ana Knil originates from an eclectic curiosity about the world: geological structures, sea creatures, insect anatomy, and plant forms. Synthesising these natural forms into abstract sculptural, gender-neutral jewellery, the tactility and sensation for the wearer is as considered as the design itself.

Each piece is hand-fabricated, cast and forged by Sasanqua Link - a jeweller and sculptor from the US, now settled in Scotland - using silver and gold, and incorporating stainless steel, porcelain, and reclaimed wood. The invigorating local landscape continues to inspire this ever-evolving collection of limited production and bespoke pieces.

ORDERING

Order Process:

In stock items usually ship within 24 hours. Please don't hesitate to contact us about any issues with timing on your order!

Custom pieces are handmade specifically for you. Please allow 1-3 weeks for fabrication and delivery. If you have a timing concern please let us know when you need an order and we will make the best attempt to have it to you in time!

You will receive an email confirming your order has been placed. Once the piece is ready to ship, you will receive an email with the tracking information enclosed.

When you check out, be sure to note the size for a ring order or any special length of chain in the notes. If you are unsure of your size, you can order a ring sizer of your own here or check with your local jeweler to verify the size of your finger.

Ring sizing is available with most pieces- there is no charge for the first re-sizing. Additional resizing can do for a fee of £30 plus shipping. Contact us here for information about sending in your ring.

PAYMENT

We accept VISA and Mastercard. We cannot accept cash, checks or money orders at this time.

All payment information is encrypted and collected via our secure server.

SHIPPING

We will send you a shipping confirmation as soon as your order has gone out. There will be a tracking number in the confirmation to allow you to track the package to your door. Packages require an adult signature unless you note otherwise.

All orders are shipped via Royal Mail, directly from Glasgow, Scotland. There is no charge for shipping with the UK. All international orders are sent with a track and sign feature.

If you wish to upgrade to Express shipping (£15) you may add that charge at the checkout.

Please note: upgrading your shipping will not reduce fabrication time, it will just travel to you faster once the order is finished. Again, if you have a time concern with the order please make note of it when you are checking out and we will do our best to accommodate you!

RETURN POLICY

Return requests are accepted within 14 days after you receive your package. All pieces must be in original, unworn condition with all original packaging. Special orders are not returnable.

The original shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

Process for Returns:

Make sure to alert us by what service the package will be coming. Please be sure to pack item carefully and insure the piece adequately.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

Gentle cleaning with mild soap and a soft brush is a toothbrush or similar soft bristle brush works great to keep your jewelry clean. General wear will burnish to a shine over time; if this patina does not suit you a soft bristle cleaning pad can bring it back to a satin finish. Use a 3M or similar fine scrubbing pad rubbed softly over the piece. Baking soda can also be used (again gently!) If you would like to have it cleaned or refinished by us, we would be happy to help. There is no charge for this except for the cost of shipping.

To help with the long life and enjoyment of your piece, remove jewelry during times of high activity such as gardening, sports/exercise and especially with harsh cleaning products! Avoid getting lotions, perfumes, or cleaning products on the jewelry.
